I went out with come co-workers to Texas Roadhouse, Williston, VT today for lunch. They had
some really great food. The manager there asked if it was my first time and after I said yes, she brought me 4 samples of some of their food. She brought me; sauteed onions & mushrooms, mashed potatoes with bacon & cheese, greens with bacon and chili with meat & cheese. I tried the sauteed Onions & mushrooms. It was quite tasty! There was also peanuts a the table for a snack before the food came. They also gave us warm, soft dinner rolls. It was a very welcoming place. I decided to have some of the Rattlesnake Bits. They are rounds of diced jalapenos and jack cheese, hand-battered and lightly fried. Served with our Cajun Horseradish sauce for dipping. There were a lot of balls and it was so good. The balls were cooked just right with the right amount of spice to be flavorful but not overwhelming. With the sauce they were amazing.
